1. Introduction

Zoom is a software developed by Lens Marketing aimed at assisting companies in conducting highly detailed qualitative market research. Through a series of screens that delve deeper into the characteristics of a company, its touchpoints, and its customers, Zoom’s algorithm can identify consumer segments with high conversion potential.

2. Objective

We have designed, together with Lens Marketing, an interface that allows any type of user to participate in complex market research quickly and intuitively.

3. Challenges

  • To create a series of layouts where the user can cross-reference and connect various types of information and values seamlessly without it becoming cumbersome.
  • To manage the enormous amount of data that the software can provide to the user by offering a clear and consistent hierarchy of information, ensuring the identification and highlighting of truly relevant information for the user.
  • The app has a workflow that keeps the user engaged and interested until its conclusion, without becoming boring.

4. Process

Starting from the specification document provided by Lens, we began drawing wireframes for the identified screens, refining the user experience. We opted for a minimalistic approach that prioritizes quick readability of navigation elements.

Once all wireframes were drawn and the atomic design style sheet was defined, we designed all the templates, updating the stylesheet as new elements appeared or as it became necessary to modify existing ones.

5. Solutions

Particular attention was given to comparing heatmaps that display the data resulting from the first part of the survey. They are presented in both graphical and textual contexts, which can be toggled on and off at the discretion of the user’s needs.
